The Pier by Sauna is finally renewed! With help of Näpsä and Mökkikeskus we got a very robust alternative, which will resist the forces of nature.
The work took two days, on the first the old pier was removed and cut to pieces as well the shore part was tailored to the terrain. On the second day the new pier was brought to the island and
installed. Sounds nice and dandy, but it really took some time. And we had to do a three kilometer boat trip six times as the old material was also 'shipped' away.
